My Job
I am a corporate and public affairs consultant specialised in healthcare and environmental policies at the European and global levels. As part of my day-to-day life at Burson, I partner with my clients to drive positive societal and economic impact through policy communications, advocacy, and partnership-building. Another very important part of my job focuses on growing and motivating my team accompanying every individual in their personal and professional journey. I am also part of the Burson Brussels leadership team.
My Experience
As part of my consultancy experience, I have been leading impactful public affairs, policy advocacy, awareness-raising, and reputation management programmes for global healthcare, biopharmaceutical, medical devices and crop science brands, international and European pharma industry associations, medical societies and patient organisations.
I have also accompanied my clients in projects supporting the launches of vaccines, medical devices, and innovative treatments in oncology, cardio-vascular and cardio-metabolic conditions, HIV, rare diseases, and Alzheimer’s across Europe and globally.
Before joining the Burson team, I worked at three other strategic communications and public affairs consultancies in Brussels and Moscow, where I advised organisations in the healthcare, agriculture, finance, tourism, and technology sectors.
Prior to immersing myself into the consultancy world, I explored language teaching and coaching for university students and young professionals as well as translation and interpreting activities, which I did as a freelancer for 10 years in parallel with my studies and travel. I also co-hosted a weekly radio show “ECOforum” on environmental issues at a local radio in Marseille for a year and launched a radio project for intercultural exchange at my university radio in France. I have also gained experience in corporate tax consulting working at a Moscow-based boutique law firm for a year.
My Specialisms
My Proudest Achievements
I am grateful for and proud of these past years of work in Brussels, allowing me to directly contribute to important developments and achievements in European health policy. In collaboration with multi-stakeholder healthcare community, I contributed towards the launch of the European Alliance for Cardiovascular Health in 2021 and currently ongoing advocacy for the European Heart Health Plan. In 2021-2022, I also had a chance to serve as Vice-Chair of ‘Preventive and Self-Care’ Committee of the European Health Parliament co-leading and guiding a team of 12 young healthcare professionals to develop actionable policy recommendations aimed at addressing most pressing European health issues.
